Saving you money on your lighting!
Welcome
to delamping.com What is delamping? Delamping is an energy
saving (and money saving) technique. It requires the use of various types of
fluorescent fixtures. Many companies are delamping by taking two
lamps out of a four-lamp fixture and saving 80 to 96 watts per fixture
(in the case of F40 T12 lamps) or 64 to 80 watts (in the case of F32 T8
lamps). The only problem is that they are also sacrificing the
light from those lamps.
An alternative method of delamping that
saves energy without sacrificing the amount of light is to use brighter
lamps with more seeable lumens. By using our whiter/brighter
lamps, you can achieve the same kind of energy savings without giving
up the light you need. If you use four-lamp fluorescent fixtures
(typically 48" long lamps), then you might be a good candidate for
delamping. Click here for a tool to help you estimate your savings and ROI.
The
cousin of delamping is relamping with LED replacement lights.
This is also a valid method of saving money on your energy. Click
